This was my first time visiting Maine. Our main excursion when planning this trip was White water rafting. We wanted a higher category so we ended up booking the Penobscot river to tackle a category 5 (we went September 2020). What made the whole 6 hour trip was our instructor Cory! He was so much fun to experience this amazing excursion with! He was very informative and kept us feeling safe the whole time. His instructions and directions were very clear throughout the entire trek down the river. Although it was a little chilly on the day of our rafting, Cory came prepared with a HUGE thermos full of hot coffee to end our trip down the river. I found this to be very thoughtful considering we were all shivering towards the end of the excursion. HIGHLY recommend going with this company on your next white water rafting adventure. Go the extra mile and request Cory as your guide. You will NOT be disappointed!! 5 stars for our awesome guide!

An exceptional place to say the LEAST. We had the most amazing trip rafting and kayaking the rapids of Maine, and every single one of our 8 guides were insanely educated on the rapids, the geography, the wildlife, and were so SO helpful in keeping everyone safe, calm, and having a BLAST. Thank you to everyone here who made it an awesome time - special shout-out to Gavin, Jason, Josh, Kara, Pat, Jimmy, and Hannah for making this trip crazy awesome for myself and the family. SERIOUS FUN!!!

This was my third trip doing the Penobscot with three Rivers and as always we had the time of our lives! We have gone with a different group every year some that have gone before and some that have not. Each time we go in feeling excited and nervous and within minutes are put at ease by the awesome guides they have! We have had the same guide by request the past two years Sean, he is amazing and gets us through the river safely every time while having so much fun! The staff prepares you so well for success and the food at lunch is yummy!

It’s our first time so we opted for the 2 night stay. The staff are all so friendly. The grounds are kept clean and our bunk house was so nice considering I didn’t know what to expect. Morning check in for rafting was so organized. I sent my 16 year old in his way with his aunts and cousins. When the group came back my son and sister weren’t with them. I discovered my son didn’t do so well getting off the raft. He went pale, felt like he was going to vomit. I’m so happy his guide Hannah and the rest of the team are so well trained! As described by my son and sister all of the guides sprang into action helping to shade my sons from the heat, using their helmets to gather water from the river and using their soaked shirts to cool him down. They monitored his vitals and got him back to camp safely. I cannot thank them enough for the care they provided. I highly recommend this three rivers!! We can’t wait to go back!

It’s been almost a week since my family and I have come home from our epic overnight trip with Three Waters and we’re still riding the high!….it truly exceeded our expectations. Bill (our incredibly skilled and confidence building river guide) and Clayton (our cook/meteorologist/sherpa/personal 'MacGyver’) took our family of self proclaimed 'condo campers' out of our comfort zone and we had a blast! Although we know they do this river stuff every week, it felt like we were their only ones in such a genuine way. It was awesome. They were so easy and friendly and knowledgeable and skilled and calm even in the most serious times. Normally I am nervous with 'dangerous' stuff (I struggle with the kiddie coaster at the amusement park…I’m pitiful) but had every confidence in Bill on the big water day…especially after our family spent the whole day before with him. In addition, EVERY single person we encountered with Three Rivers was patient, friendly, cool (like gnarly cool), and joyful in every accommodation they made for us. Patty greeted and helped us out when we checked in on day one. When we saw her two days later and got to spend part of the day with her on the river it was like meeting up with an old friend she’s so cheerful! Our only regret for the whole trip was I sadly did not think to get a real picture of our family together with Bill and Clayton at dinner (an awesome steak dinner with a pineapple upside down cake cooked over a campfire!)...we loved these guys. With a genuine heart, thanks so much to Bill, Clayton and everyone at Three Rivers for allowing our family this extraordinary experience! We can’t wait to get back to Maine and the big water.

We 10 f&f members rafting with them. When I booked their package they told me rafting, breakfast and lunch is included with my package. However, when we finished our breakfast they gave a check for taking breakfast! 70 , I went to their booking office they said do you have any prove for that ! I said you didn’t send details about the package even you didn’t send that your lunch is also included so why you are giving free lunch take bill for that they said no lunch is only included. I said listen your phone calls record , they said we don’t keep that. So I request every one who is taking any book with them ask them what is included with their package and take confirmation email with the package details .Lunch was not great. Last year I raft with “Apple crab”which is very close to them and their service was very very good. Three rivers has only one good site that is their lodging houses is very nice.
