This is a neat bit of history. It is well preserved and maintained. A glimpse into life in the mid 1800s. The host was very friendly and had a lot of neat information. There is a ramp going to the inn, but most of it has no handicap access. It is a historic building.

Travelers Rest was an awesome Historic Site we were graded intended to like royalty could not have asked for a better trip learned lots of new things and had fun while doing it

Interesting local history. It's a small site, so best to visit at times when fewer visitors would be expected.

Awesome historical site. It really gives you a little more understanding of how simple life must have been like back then. The original cabin was constructed around 1815. The history behind it was cool to learn about.
