John F. Savage Arena formally known as Centennial Hall opened in 1976 is another classic Toledo venue which have played host to countless concerts, volleyball, basketball games, ladies, men, high school, and maybe even some championship Jr. High games, commencements and other events. Its seating capacity for basketball is 7,300 and 8,300 for concerts. It's in no way comparable to a large big city venue but it has an intimate setting and not a bad seat in the house, Savage Hall has hosted some big city names. I can remember one of the 1st concerts there was Bob Dylan, other big name artists were; Yes, ZZ Top, and Rush just to name a few. I certainly rate it a five star venue.

We won a suite for placing in the Glass City Marathon, and the suite was amazing! The food was restaurant-quality, and I couldn't recommend the chocolate cake enough! The view was really good from there, but the stadium is pretty small that anywhere is a good seat.

Nice arena for a basketball game. Food was good. Seats seemed a little loose, but not like you were going to fall out of them.
