UTMC is my new favorite hospital. Nurses are all terrific! The doctors and those completing tests--ultrasound, x-ray, vascular center, ortho dept and anything I might have missed--discerned my health problems and saved my life--TWICE!

I didn't see anything wrong with this place. Matter of fact... The doctors here saved my Mom's life. The cafeteria was good too with a lot of good things to eat

This hospital and staff have been amazing with my father's care with the exception of their laboratory. I had to take my father for a blood draw before he was suppose to have his heart catherization, we waited about 20 minutes before I approached the counter for a second time to see if anyone was working . I saw a young security officer leaning against the counter talking and laughing with someone behind the wall. I asked to speak to somene and was told to wait and have a seat. When I sat back down, my father began to have chest pain, so I approached the counter again to explain the situation looking for help. When I said my father was having chest pain, I was told the er was around the corner, and that I could take him. No one offered to help and I had to get him a wheelchair on my own and try to find my way to the er, all the while he is still complaining of his chest hurting. I believe this is completely unacceptable and no one person acted like they cared. Is this the way that the lab is normally ran? I find it sad that no one had compassion for my father or myself!

This place is horrible! If I could give it zero stars I would. Brought my dad in to the ER for afib issues, they agreed and let us sit in the ER room for 6 hours! Didn’t get a room, had to beg for food and water fur an 83 year old.. this is borderline elderly abuse..
