Someone left a 1-star review with no comments? Pathetic. Tom has been known to professional guitar players as the most talented and reliable repair expert in the entire region for decades. He can take the vintage Gibson you accidentally sat on, put the splinters back together, and you'd never know it from looking at it. I've trusted Tom with my high-end guitars for as long as I've lived in the area; if you have too, please leave a review to bring his rating up to where it should be.

Tom is a top notch luthier. A total pro, and right up there with the big boys. He has made several guitars in the 2k range for me. He can work with wild specs. He is a perfectionist. He has done repairs for me. He has taught me how to work on my own guitars. He is an inspiration. His paint job finish work is quite incredible. example guitar.
Tom has been performing amazing guitar work for me since 1993, and has NEVER disappointed me. As a professional musician who performs(ed) \u003e200 gigs/yearly (prior to COVID), I NEED my instruments to function flawlessly. Tom's attention to detail results in a guitar that begs to be played, bringing out the best player you can be. He has done a multitude of jobs for me, from refrets to refinishing... his work is without peer. He is also very affable and knowledgeable... with a wellspring of facts about 50's Fenders, Gibsons and others. Not only is he a spectacular repairman, he is a phenomenal builder as well. The consummate luthier.

I do my own repair work and for others. If I have any questions this is who I call. If I can't do the work I send the customer to Tom. Many players throughout Broome County and the Southern Tier go to Tom for good reason. He's just the best! And has been for over 25 years. I'm not the only guitar tech who will tell you this. We all want to be as good as him!
