Horrible service, the guy with long curly blonde hair was very disrespectful, made us super uncomfortable we left without even ordering anything. He forced us to sit while we only wanted to look at the menu and then kept being really pushy. I would never come back and I would never recommend it to anyone.

Really cool spot to hang and have drinks. Small menu for eats but everything is really good. Pool table in the back!

Wonderful Italian shop and deli. Remarkable selection for a small place, and more affordable than specialty imports often are. Fantastic deli with amazing sandwiches and salads made from the authentic products on the shelves.

We stumbled upon this bar while walking near the park. It wasn't crowded and surprisingly drinks were pretty good. Music was great as well. It's a great place to hang with friends and talk as it's not too loud. Theme for the drinks is names of authors. They've hot drinks on the menu as well though they weren't available when we were there. Yes, they've real candles if that's a thing you're into.

Nasty and arrogant people work here. An employee swung a door into me. I was with 9 other people. I asked for her to apologize and she refused; leading to awkwardness when some people left. She then had the rest of us removed by a bouncer. The manager claimed she is a long time employee and he trusted her. We just ran up a large tab at his bar and it wasn’t the first time. Never going back. We are long time East Village residents. Plenty of other places to go. I am writing this review 20 minutes after it went down, so obviously in a clear state of mind.

A friend suggested I visit this bar for drinks. I regret going. The hostess, Tamara, was the nastiest, rudest, most impolite, arrogant and egotistical individual I ever had the dishonor of interacting with. I will not be going back. There are too many bars in this neighborhood and I can go to any one of them and spend my money and be treated much better. I found out that the owner also owns Lovers of Today and Niagara, so I wont be spending my money in those either! And I will definitely encourage others not to as well. Tamara is clearly inexperienced in the nuance of dealing with people or she simply doesn't care. Either way, train her properly or put her in a job where she doesn't interact with bar patrons. She is costing your establishment business!

Cool low-key punk rock hang out. Bar area has a speakeasy feel. Pool table and bench seating in the back make for a nice little hang out. Great location. Home of the Turbojugend NYC.
