I can't say enough great things about Tim Toney and the personal guidance he gave me in regard to an electric motor problem I had. I was replacing an attic fan motor for my 92 year old Dad. The old motor was actually damaged beyond repair, although I didn't realize it. The breaker kept tripping, but the motor would start up again after resetting the breaker. I tried many adjustments, nothing worked. I called Toney's shop, and Tim told me I could bring the motor by and he would take a look. He informed me it was burned up, and suggested I look into a new motor. After he researched it, he found the motor on sale at Grainger's, and knowing that I was going to do the replacement myself, he gave me the model number and suggested I pick it up and install it to save money. It turns out that Grainger was closed at the time, due to COVID. After several attempts at failed online ordering, I was able to drop by after they had opened the showroom. I picked up the motor and a pulley, and called Tim to let him know. He suggested I bring it by and let him give me some pointers, and I enthusiastically jumped on the offer! When I arrived, he took me into the repair area and unpacked everything and connected all the lead wires, etc. Told me what to do if the direction of the fan motor was reversed. This turned out to be a life saver, as it was reversed and I was able to fix it quickly. As we were leaving, I asked what we owed him, and he declined to charge us anything. I said no way, and just about had to force him to accept some cash! It really gave me a huge surge of faith in the goodness of people in this day and time.

Brought 4 tools in from angle grinders to chop saw motors in Sept. 2014. I am going to pick up the tools Feb 2015. They are STILL not looked at. Going elsewhere.
