We had a very enjoyable stay and feel blessed to have such a place in this area. We will be back and will recommend this place to our friends.

Cabins are well-kept and cozy. Plenty of space between cabins for a real sense of privacy. Terisa was very communicative and responded to all questions in a timely manner. The view from the back of our cabin (Chippewa) was nothing but forest, adding to a feel of quiet solitude. Plenty of hot water for the huge whirlpool tub that fit me and my partner with room to spare. Definitely going to become a repeat customer!

Our stay last weekend exceeded our expectations. The pics do not do this place justice. First of all, the cabin was impeccably clean. Second, the owners are on the property and wonderful in making sure we had everything we needed for the stay. They are extremely organized and professional. Third, it was just a wonderful escape. I had also bought my brother and his wife a gift certificate for Christmas and I’m so glad I did. We will be back (both as a couple and with our boys) and we highly recommend these glorious cabins to anyone looking for a quiet escape.

Our stay was excellent , this was our second time staying here . It's close to all the attractions and a nice , well maintained, quite retreat just as advertised. We look forward to our third visit , Thank you for a great weekend !

This was a perfect place to getaway from everything. Definitely not bringing the kids next time because they were pretty bored with no internet. We were in Bridge and the cabin was clean and well stocked. The office has all the extras you might need as well. They also have DVDs you can borrow which was nice, for something different. Everyone we met was friendly. It's out of town but not too far from a Casey's and Dollar General. Although it was nothing fancy, it was perfect for a relaxing getaway for a good price.

It as a perfect getaway. We wanted an isolated cabin. The Shady Oaks like the others is a single-renter lodging in a beautiful woods in a private park not far from LaSalle Peru. The staff were very polite and accommodating. We never had to make personal contact with proprietors or neighbors, which is what we were looking for due to covid. Very clean and modern furnishings. Great price. This was our base for a couple days of bike riding. Only downside was lack of phone service and wifi. Terisa the owner responded saying that a break from electronic communication could be considered a plus and after thinking about it... she's actually right about that!

Wow! This place was just what me and my new husband needed for our mini-moon. Since COVID-19 is still an issue, we wanted a nice, isolated place to relax and that is exactly what we got. The wood stove and the extra large tub made it cozy and romantic. We will definitely consider Kishauwau if/when we need another getaway.

The location was close to state parks, but much more private and peaceful than actually staying in the parks. Beautiful wooded setting. Cabins were nicely decorated, clean & very comfortable. We appreciated the ease of making reservations and the emails updating on us on what to expect and what to bring. Once there, the hosts were very attentive and accessible if we needed anything. This was a couples trip, but was nice that we could bring our dog. Definitely plan to visit again. Would be great multi-family meeting place.
