The guys at the counter are always friendly and quick. The equipment is hit or miss. Rates are fair. Pickup and delivery would be an awesome feature
Rented an earth tiller for a few hours. The gentleman who assisted me in both the transaction and the return was incredibly short and rude. Otherwise a seamless experience with the tool itself but man did those brief interactions with the sales clerk leave a bad impression. Will probably look at other tool rental options in the future and save the risk of a pissed off clerk as a last resort.
I was excited when I moved to Buford 10 years ago to know that there was a Home Depot and a Lowes near the fixer-upper I purchased. I now drive out of my way to go to the Spout Springs Home Depot. This one has consistently disappointed over the years. Poor management is my guess. Don't rent equipment here unless you have the time to return it for another one because the maintenance stinks. I foolishly went again today and saw a guy at the rental desk giving merchandise away because he was too lazy to ring it up! There was also a very strange man with large hoop earing's and painted fingernails that was being rude to at least three different customers while I waited for lumber to be cut. He said he would cut that lumber for me but didn't return for 20 minutes and I had to get someone else to help me. He was also constantly eating something out of his apron and talking with his mouth full. I mean seriously, what kind of management would allow thus behavior?!? I do a lot of work on homes and have been to dozens of Home Depot's across the nation but this one takes the cake on unprofessionalism, poor stocking, unpriced products and items simply out of stock! You're better off finding another location or going to Lowes.
This bad review is purely reflecting the truck rental employee, I believe his name is Bill, who gave my truck away bc I was 5 min late getting there due to traffic. I called the store twice to confirm I needed a truck and that I was on my way. I got there just in time to see him hand the keys to someone else. He was rude and very poorly handled the situation. He should have gotten my number and called me before giving away my truck. This screwed up my entire day and I will never use this Home Depot again.
