I must say, this is by far the best rental location i have ever been to. Joe, the tool tech is the most knowledgeable individual regarding literally everything. Ms. Karen has always been extremely nice and helpful. Seemingly an expert in Penske truck rental. Ms. Peggy is equally amazing. Her tough love always keeps tool rental operating under high standards which ensures a great experience. Donald is a genius, and tool rental is only benefiting from his vast knowledge in all fields relating to mechanics and engineering. Jacob I've noticed tends to close tool rental frequently, and anyone who finds themselves in need of a tool at the last minute is in great hands. Overland Tool Rental truly has the A team in place.

I was renting a Penske moving truck from this Home Depot location, to move my 80-year old mother-in-law across the country. We had reserved and pre-paid for the truck using my mother-in-law's credit card. When I went to pick up the truck, the woman in charge, Shannon, refused to give us the truck without the physical card. Remember, the truck was paid for already. I had the card number, and she refused to punch it in to the machine. Even though another employee, Adrianne, told us it was easy, and offered to punch the card into the machine for us, Shannon refused to allow it. I was forced to drive 40 minutes back to my mother-in-law's house to get the card. The movers, who we were paying hourly, sat and waited. Shannon was rude and unhelpful. She also refused to accept our AAA card discount, even AFTER I got AAA on the phone to verify that our card was valid. Adrianne, who was great - helpful and friendly - manually gave us a 10% discount in the end, and did her best to overcome Shannon's rudeness, obstinance, and bad customer service. If Adrianne was in charge, I'd consider renting here again. But as it now stands, I wouldn't come back.

Do Not rent tools from Home Depot! They have no service for the equipment, they will lie to your face and try to over charge you to get their day rental rate. Now they hav a collection company trying to collect. 1,108.37 which is about half of what they tried charging me at the store. Read on for details. I rented a lift from them for a month and after two days the lift had a very small leak. So I called it in ( big mistake ) they said bring it in right now and go start your contract over at a different Home Depot. I asked about having someone repair it or continuing my contract at the another story. They said no we have one guy that all the store use and he is to busy to fix the lift. So I said NO I'm not bring it in. So left it parked it was raining anyway. After 2-day their one repair man from North Carolina called asking about the lift I told him it's in the my driveway. So he finally come and repairs it. The next day when to come down in the lift it cook me 5 minuted to come down. The repairman had some how governed down the hydraulics. So used it for ten more try to get my jobs done. but decided it was cost to much time ( money) to keep using the lift. So I talked to another Manage at different Home Depot he said that he talk to the original store manager and that I could return the lift at the monthly rate of 1,763.00 ( So my math, 1,763.00 divided by 30 Days 58.77 per day. ) When I drop it off they tried charging me 2,800.00. So of course I didn't paid. And had to rent a lift from a real Rental compay. Sunbelt Rental it may cost a little more, but if something breaks the will service the equipment.

Didn't have any hardwood floor finishing nails. Don't understand why they are sold out at every store. How can they rent tools out but not carry the nails for the tools.
