Truck came with an E85 gas cap. Drove around for a long time trying to find E85 to fill the truck with, costing us extra money on the rental. Called and asked an employee who said unleaded gas is fine. Pretty sure this is a tactic to get people to just bring the truck back without fuel and eat the 6/gal surcharge. If not, and it’s just an error, they need to switch the gas caps on their trucks or provide information on where e85 stations can be found. This left a very bad taste in my mouth, I will not use this truck rental again if I can avoid it.

Have always been assisted in a knowledgeable and courteous manner... the employees seem happy to be there and to help! If they are not certain about a project or item, they would find the appropriate person or guide me in obtaining what I needed. I often use the tool rental department and have always been satisfied with the tools and the service.l Once I needed a receipt dating back about 5 months for insurance purposes. The associate was unable to retrieve it after about 15 minutes of searching. She recorded my contact information, searched the records later in the day and emailed the receipt to my home. It seemed important to her that I have what I needed from Home Depot to aid me in completing the insurance forms. I seemed important. This is how I feel when I go to the Home Depot on Carpenter Rd., Ypsilanti.

I rented a tool from the tool rental here and it was a great experience. Very easy to find what i need, the staff were awesome(I remember one of the guy's name is keith...he was great. The manager of the department was also very helpful) Will definitely come back and use again in the future

Major props go out to the the Tool rental department they saved me about 15.00. They drilled a hole in a metal pot for me at no charge! How awesome is that. Home Depot just got a customer for life!

I rented a power washer here and got it home only to find it didn’t work. Took it back and asked for a discount since they wasted an hour of my time. “Sorry, I’m just an associate. You have to talk to a manager.” “OK, I am happy to talk to a manager.” “Sorry, she’s not here, but you can call back later.” Not impressed at all.
