This Home Depot took my money for a lift they don't even have! I reserved a 50 foot lift on their web page. I spoke to a representative on the phone a week in advance and pre-paid 650 for the rental fee and delivery. Until this point, everything was great, beyond professional! On the day I needed the lift, it never showed up during the time window that The Home Depot provided me. They call and say they don't actually have a 50 foot lift! They offered no solutions like trying to get a lift from a different store, or a different day, or giving me a coupon for a future purchase. Nobody knows how this happened, and the manager never called me back. Please don't waste your time renting from The Home Depot.

Try to rent a machine ....have to wait for more than an hour to be told that the machine wasn't available,went to talk to the manager and I have to wait another 25 more minutes because she wasn't at the customer service desk ,when she finally came and I explained to her the situation. ..her words were.....sorry to hear that but I can't do anything about it, is something else that I can help you? This is what I call the worst customer service ever and this is not the first time this happen on this store second shift hours ,the only reason I come back was because I received an email to apologize for other bad customer service issues .....not willing to come back even if morning shift is different, like day and night.
Called at 11:17 to rent a truck. The customer service rep asked if we could be there soon to pick it up and I said yes. She then asked how long. I told her it takes us 15 minutes to get there and we'd leave in a couple minutes. She said we have to get there at 11:35 which, by the time we got off the phone, was 16 minutes away. We tried, got there a minute too late, and they said we didn't get there at the time we were told so it's gone. I said we were given a totally unrealistic amount of time and they replied with "we can only give you 15-20 minutes." I wish that the rep would have just said something like "I'm not sure you'll be able to make it in enough time with our rental policy." Then we could have tried somewhere else instead of wasting our time.
