I called two hours ahead of time to see if a truck was going to be ready and he said one will be here around 12 and 1230 I got here at 12 on the dot and when I got here a van with pulling out and I asked the guy who was renting the van did he just get the van or he dropping it off the guy tells me when he got here the van was already here and he didn’t have to wait so then I get inside Home Depot and the guy says oh it just got rented it’s a first come first serve if I knew that I would’ve came up here way ahead of time. Basically I feel like I was lied too because I simply asked a question and he could’ve just simply gave me the answer that he gave his manager but he did it they lucky that they only have available one star because I want even given no stars at all. Disgusting

Worst tool rental ever. Rented a drum sander (first timer) and the thing was basically broken. How would I know since it was the first time I ever used it? I wouldn't. The sand wasn't collecting in the bag, which also had a hole in it... but basically none of it went into the bag. I ended up needing the sander for another day, I called and they said, "yeah, that's fine... we have a discount for a 2 day rental and you don't have to return it until 9pm" I returned it before 9 and somehow got hit with a 2 hour fee on top. So I got charged a bunch of extra money and no one believed me when I told them what the guy on the phone said. Broken tools, terrible customer service and unnecessary fees... never again home depot.

Went to rent a hammer drill and 4 inch diamond bit, the bit they gave me was worn and had broken teeth. When I went to go exchange it, the manager in the tool rental department said "looks fine to me" before even looking at the drill bit. Once he looked at the bit he pulled out other ones that were also in bad shape... He found one that was just okay and handed it to me but did not reset my time. The rental tools in this store are horrible... definitely going to Lowe's next time.
