I’m not sure if it’s because I grew up on the coasts, but I think the employees who work here are the nicest people! Kendra left a stamp for me and it was so kind of her to go out of her way. The site is so nice, and peaceful. I am planning to come back after covid to see the inside. There’s a beautiful mural across the street and I spent about a half hour walking around and reading the signs. Lovely site. I definitely recommend.

Unfortunately we came across this gem on a Sunday so it was closed. We did walk around the building, felt the vibes. We read some of the informational signs and looked at the beautiful mural across the street. From the other reviews it seems to be a very educational and life changing experience. It felt very honorable to be in the place of such an important aspect to our country’s history. Hope to see the inside one day

It is currently closed, but this event & the changes that occurred as a result are so important. We used the wall depicting some of this, as a backdrop for Sr pictures. I've enjoyed this mural since it was begun, it's just better every time I see it.

Absolutely fantastic place. So much history and to even walk down these famous halls. Especially being an educator, I put on my teacher lens and thought about all of the children. We spoke to an amazing park ranger named Dexter who met some of these famous individuals in the pictures. Be sure to ask for him. Wonderful place.

Well preserved and tells the story of a not to distant past. Visitor parking is in the lot across the street from the front of the building.
