This is a great venue for attending various concerts and choir performances. I've attended Washburn University students' recitals, Shawnee County Choral Society's concerts, and so many other performances here. They do not sell food at these events. Bathrooms are down the stairs from the main/front foyer.

Part of Washburn university, it's used for community events and community music performances. The inside is very similar to when it was built, and has been updated several times over the years. Sound tiles were added to improve the acoustics. Seats are padded and comfortably for the most part. Isles are close together, and make it fun to get out when you have to leave for the restrooms.

Not a fair review. My nephew, Caleb Wahwasuck was killed in a car accident in 2009. A scholarship was established there in his name. I've never gotten over it. A couple of students a year get financial assistance from him. I've seen their letters of gratitude, it still hurts. I play the flute and had through college. I'm happy they had help from him. I hate Ramens to this day making ends meet in school. But I love this place. It's very special to me even if they don't know who I am when I come.

The band that played was awesome. My daughter made it in honor band at Washburn University. Quite a proud mom.
