This was one of the first places I visited when I had moved here to San Francisco and was extremely pleased with the visit. I'm no German but I have had the opportunity to visit many a time. The atmosphere and setup reflects the typical German pub. Community tables always throw people off but this is exactly how it is back in Germany. A great way to enjoy full, wholesome food over some brews. The staff is extremely chill and helpful. Hayes Valley in and of itself is beautiful but this location adds a nice taste of culture to the quaintness of the neighborhood.
