This is a Fantastic store. The staff is very knowledgably and helpful. If you are looking for hiking boots, they have one of the best selections that I have ever seen. High quality gloves, winter gear, and outdoor gear. Drive past the big box stores and visit Evans on the Common.

One of the best stores in Massachusetts between Boston and the Connecticut River for clothing, footwear, gear and gifts. Terrific selection and professional, friendly, helpful service. Evans on the Common is a destination.
You get what you pay for in boots and optics.\ Evans sells boots, and a lot more, all quality merchandise. Don't shop here if you want Walmart pricing. Redwing, Filson, Birkenstock, these aren't found at discount stores. If you want high quality clothing and outdoor gear, then Evans on the Common is for you.
Love this place for something to wear that is warm!! The tent sale can't be passed by without a look. If you need something for a date or a birthday present?? This is the place to shop!! Not to mention SHOES!!!
This place has great clothes, shoes, and all kinds of different apparel. It's great to see places like this surviving and doing well in the time of amazon. Long live small business!
