Stopped in Gene's shop on our way back to Louisiana. He is a very talented artist and a good dude to chat with. He has lots of different pieces to choose from, of all types and sizes. We will definitely stop back in next time we come up and pick up another piece!

I have known Gene for many years and have several of his carvings. I have also had the pleasure of watching him create an amazing work of art from a plain piece of wood. Gene is known for his attention to detail. His bears have hair, his birds have feathers, and his snakes have scales. If you can show him a picture or describe something to him, he can create it for you in wood. In addition, he is also a good guy and a special friend.
