I heard so many great reviews about GBMC for delivering babies, however my experience was horrible. I would not recommend any pregnant people to deliver here. They show you the delivery rooms that are all updated but the post partum rooms are worse than a motel 6. Honestly GBMC was horrible even when we started at their perinatal associates until the day we left post partum at the hospital. I would not recommend this perinatal practice or hospital for any future parents.

The staff in here are so amazing! The rooms are wonderful, nurses very understanding, 3 days in postpartum care felt like a little vacation in a nice hotel (not taking into consideration all the pain). Every nurse felt like the closest family member that really wants the best for you. Answered all of my questions, walked through each step in learning how to breastfeed/care for newborn multiple times with endless patience. I have never felt so cared for in my life and greatful for every single member of their team for being so incredibly wonderful

I had the worst experience in the L&D and the doctor didn’t seem to be concerned with my health. I’ve been getting different information. When I left I asked them about my discharge information for pregnancy.... I got covid 19 instructions \u200d️ After speaking with Janet Starky the PA Erin was passive and dismissive just encouraging me to change hospitals if I wasn’t satisfied with her, as if I didn’t know my rights. She also said given my diabetes issues I should’ve had an induction. Beautiful hospital but I don’t believe I’ve been handled with medical competence and care . . I was in so much pain I ended up going to another hospital and it turns out my water actually did burst and I ended up getting admitted. I think that’s malpractice really

I have 4 children one currently on the way and 3 delivered here so far. I've had wonderful delivery experiences at Gbmc 2 induction which were amazing experiences, and one fast delivery I came in 8cm dialated and didn't even realize barely had pain, when I say the nurses and hospital staff moved quickly I had my son in no time and was even able to get an epidural. No matter how many times I came in (hundreds lol) for false labor because of rapid births, they stayed professional and gave great care. When I come here it's like family we laugh we joke we deliver. I am now on my fifth child Labor and delivery is my favorite part it's my mini vacay lol! Only advice I can give is to renovate or update the outdated furniture and rest rooms. Besides that I been blessed to deliver my beautiful babies with people that care. Thank you!
