Only positive is the close proximity to the school. Management is horrible, no one in the leasing office knows anything ever. Seems like a circus event most of the time. Very over priced! Not college friendly at all. Thinking about having friends over? Forget it. lots of double standards as well. No pet policy but yet I see the employees walk their dogs and I hear them barking in my building.

I've hated this place since I started living here, I think I made 17 maintenance requests in the first month I lived here cause things kept breaking. These are way over priced for what you're getting, seriously almost 1000 dollars a month for a small, ugly, brokendown apartment. My advice is to live literally anywhere else. Also if they telling these apartments go quick, they are lying to your face, half of my floor has been completely empty since I started living here.
If I didn't have to click a star for this to be posted, there'd be zero stars. Had to move in a DAY early, charged me a 250 early move in fee because 'the cleaners' would have to go out of their way to do mine early. Sorry, but no one going to still be cleaning the day before everyone moves in. After all that, we found unwrapped food sitting in our cabinets and a mysterious brown liquid coating the fridge upon arrival: thanks for cleaning my apt early!! In addition to the many inconveniences and outrageous charges that come with living here, my personal favorite has to the worlds lowest functioning management. For example, the women at the leasing office who refused to show me video surveillance footage of someone putting a rock through my windshield in their parking lot. If you value your car, your money, your safety and your wellbeing, University Village is not for you!
In serious, serious need of repair. Obviously no one bothered to do an inspection of the apartment before move-in day. From day one we had a fly infestation, dozens of them in the kitchen and throughout the apartment. Ended up dealing with them myself. Every kitchen appliance was rusted and crusty with food. Carpets stained throughout. Bathroom smelled horribly of urine before I cleaned it myself. Isn't this the job of the previous tenant and management? Update 09/24 Removed the vent cover in the bathroom to clean off rust that had been there since move-in, only to find the interior was covered in black mold! Not only that, but it is in the ventilation system as well. After checking my bedroom vent for mold (yes, it was there too) I called the leasing office. \If they don't come in two days I'll put in another work order\. Are you joking? Ridiculous place to live, not worth it. Disappointed and unacceptable. Update 10/24 Had maintenance come by today to do a full duct cleaning and replace all vent covers, they are also replacing our kitchen counter, which has a serious sagging problem that causes it to pull away from the wall. Overall very satisfied now that problems are being fixed.
