This church really stepped up in a big way during the corona virus pandemic. I was driving by in October 2020 taking a friend of mine home. She was pregnant and I had just finished driving her to sign up for food stamps. The County Assistance Office was closed per the governors orders. We did not get her fully signed up, but a nice woman there pointed us in the right direction. After leaving, mission unaccomplished, I stopped at the local grocery store on the way to her house so she could use her grocery check from the Salvation Army. Christian Life Church happened to be along that path and as I drove by, a man was standing roadside holding a large homemade sign that advertised in bright colors and capital letters, “FREE GROCERIES! STOP NOW!” I initially drove by but u-turned at the closest turnaround. I looked at my friend and read the “mariel, you’ve done enough” face and replied, “We have to!” We pulled in, didn’t have to sign up, and were offered necessities and groceries that came along with sincere heart felt prayer offers. I told them to pray for the baby coming. The woman that just filled my trunk with groceries looked at me and asked genuinely, “What about you? You need something specific...” I started to cry and she gave me her business card. It contained her name, phone number, a Bible verse, and her title. Destiny. The prayer warrior. They still continue to give on Tuesday’s. I called after baby Oliver was born to thank her for her help and prayers. She was thrilled and still shoots me a text here and there to let me know I’m in her thoughts. Forever grateful for this little church community.

Christian Life Church is a friendly, down to earth atmosphere. They are like family. Everyone cares for one another. It is a laid back environment; you can show up as you are. Jeans and t-shirts are acceptable. I love the people and that's why I chose to become a member, get water baptized, and have my youngest child dedicated there. They didn't look down on me for being an unwed, single mother as other churches have. they have a wonderful nursery and youth group. They have plenty of activities for young and old. God accepts every sinner to help them turn their life into good and that's exactly what this church does. If your looking for a great church, this is it!!!!
