I just swing by on 5/1/16 and the store was empty,no longer in business at this location I took my touring bike in for a tune up. The labor was reasonably priced, the parts were reasonably priced, and the turn around was excellent for the busy time of the year. I was able to borrow a few tools and ask questions about the local biking scene. I would agree with previous comments that the people that work here are bike people, so they know their stuff. I think they also occasionally close early to get a ride in, which is awesome. I will be doing business with Trails Edge again, and I recommend you do as well.

Well had great luck with Trail's Edge the first few times. This time was a little different. My bike snapped a hydraulic line and I took bike in on a Tues and they said it would be done Wed or Thursday at the latest. I had to call Thursday because I haven't heard from anyone. They didn't even look at the bike till I called Thursday and then they didn't have the part they needed to fix my brake and said it would take 5-7 days to get the part. I had to take the bike somewhere else and told them I was coming to pick it up. When I went to pick it up it was still in the rack with the grab bar, grip, and brake off. I had to wait for them to reassemble the bike. With that said I still think the shop is good but them spending an extra 3 minutes checking to see if they had the part would of saved my 3 days on the unknown. All my service in the past there has been good. I will till use the shop and i'm hoping this was just a fluke incident.

My Moose Mitt order was placed on 10/28 and my credit card was billed on 11/3. Still no sign of them. They don't reply to emails and no one answers the phone. I messaged them on Facebook and they did reply: "Looks like we should have a pair ready to ship with the batch we are finishing up right now. So USPS 2-3 days once they ship. Best estimate is mid next week." Starting to wonder if this is a real business. It's sad because their Moose Mitts are awesome. :(

Received a gift card to have my mountain bike tuned-up. My bike now rides worse than before I took it in. Cable was not re-tightened on the front derailleur and my gears slipped out on a ride to Northville. Mechanic had even mentioned that I had it running better than before he worked on it..

Been here a few times for parts and repairs, and will continue to come back. Service is on time, part and labor prices are very reasonable, and they have gone out of their way to research a replacement part for one which was obsolete. Definitely the go-to shop for repairs in the area.

I do not know how these guys stay in business. Usually to stay in business you need to acknowledge that your customer exists. I walked in, had to find the employee, had to initiate the conversation, (which he could not seem to give eye contact during), then after dropping off my bike on Thursday, was told it would be ready Friday, then Saturday, then maybe Sunday, then I had to call on Monday to see if they had it ready. They said, yeah, they still had to put a chain on it but that they were doing that as we spoke. An hour later I went to pick up my bike and had to wait as they put the new chain on, then when my bike was done, they took it off the stand and set it there, without acknowledging that they were done, or that I had to get it, or who I should pay. Really, work on the social skills, or lose business. I will not be a repeat customer, and recommend other customers find a business with employees who care about their customers.

I had rented a bike for a trip on Sunday. Service was great and I 'upgraded' the price for the rent. Was sorry to hear that you no longer maintained that location.
