I was lucky enough to be one of the first 5 Transcended residents. I had been through many programs before I was finally ready to make a change. I did not stay sober after my first stay there, but I did build a connection that when I was ready I had somewhere loving to go. I’m blessed today to have almost a decade sober. I look back at the love I’ve received from them through the years. I will say transcend is more than a residence it’s a loving embracing community! All the way from the top of the chain down to the house managers. I’m still very much in touch with the people there who were so giving and caring. They still help propel me down the correct path over 9 years later. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of this community. You or your family member will be too! If you want help, and you want a safe living space look no further. I’ve been through many places and never felt the love nor connection that Transcend offers.

This is the best sober living/IOP in Los Angeles. I was 22 and could not get sober. I now have 16 months and owe it all to a combination of AA, Transcend sober living, and The Heights treatment center. Transcend gave me a safe place to begin my sobriety and get on my feet. I was able to overcome addiction and anxiety/depression, now sponsor men in the Yale house, and am in touch with staff from both programs to this day. Best, Charlie
