The best repair place I've ever taken my car to in the west metro. I was always treated with the utmost respect and given honest advice when I brought my car in for differential and brake repair. Very fair prices and fast work. One mechanic told me it would take 3 weeks to repair a differential. TSI did it in less than a day and did brakes at the same time. They also let me explore options for used parts instead of forcing me to buy new. I will be taking any future repairs to this shop after the great service I received

Always great service. Scott works hard and is the most honest mechanic I've been too... I will never go anywhere else.

I had a problem with 2nd clutch pressure switch. They replaced it.I was selling the Acura and a week later during test drive, same problem. I took it back and Scotty said he could not reproduce problem and to go to Acura dealer .I took it to Buerkle who are fantastic. They said the switch put in was old and failed. They gave me the part to take to Scotty.Scotty said the part came from Buerkle which was not true.Buerkle confirmed this.I went back and was told by Scotty that Buerkle must have replaced different sensor(there are 3) but his paperwork and Buerkle showed is was the same sensor so he was misrepresenting again. He said to bring the MDX back and we could look at the sensors .He knew the vehicle was sold and that was not possible . He said,if its sold who cares. This runaround and apparent deceit cost me an additional 450 .I have since heard a similar complaint so beware if you choose to use them .I would not recommend it.I take no pride in the content of this post but it is exactly what happened. Scotty refused to give any credit for the duplicate work caused by a faulty old part sold as a new one.

Family owned with small town values. My family has been bringing our cars to Scotty and the team at Smith Nielsen Automotive for years. They give you an honest estimate of what is wrong with your car, and advise you on what you have to repair and what would be good to repair in the future. I recommend this shop!
