Great experience staying at Gate Creek Cabins in August. I was atving from the cabins and it was wonderful to be able to come back to a well furnished cabin with a full kitchen and shower. I plan to stay here again as Denali is often more clear and visible on early crisp morning and the cabins are perfectly located to explore Petersville and Cache Creek trails.

We did a last minute biking and hiking trip to check out the Petersville Road but we weren't in the mood to go camping. So happy we found this place! Wonderfully run! Very comfortable! We had a problem with the toilet and Rod fixed it right away. We highly recommend the Gate Creek Cabins!
Perfect home base for Alaska adventures. Cute cabins with comfortable beds and nice linens- high standards. everything you need to cook a great meal in the kitchen or on the BbQ. Quiet and relaxing for. couples or families.

This has been the most amazing vacation experience I have ever had. I really can't say enough about Gate Creek Cabins. First and foremost, Susie and Rod are the most gracious hosts, that makes everyone feel like they're part of the family and loved. Their cabins, (well they like to call them cabins, I would call them mansions in the mountains) are modern and very well maintained with all the modern amenities. Then there is Robert with Northern Exposure adventure tours. He is a very positive and entertaining young man. He has an extensive fleet of modern snow machines and does tours for riders with no experience that like to stay on the trail. Then he is more than willing to absolutely challenge the most experienced riders with off the trail rides. Great snow, amazing people most excellent place. 5 all day.
What can I say? We came here with plans of doing a bunch of outdoor stuff, but the cabin was soooooo clean and comfortable, we didn't really move (there was also rain so). The owners were nothing short of AWESOME and extremely kind and helpful. The property was beautiful and serene. They had a vast selection of DVD's that we watched while relaxing. The cabin was sparkling clean, like the cleanest place I've ever stayed outside of my own home. We plan on coming back, that's for sure. You definitely get your money's worth staying here!

This is the absolute best place to stay in the area. The cabins are very well taken care of. The owners care deeply about their guests. You are off the grid, but it feels remarkably very much like home. Hot water, electricity, and even some internet. You'll find clean beds and great service. Really it's the hosts that make this place so awesome. I've come here for work and for fun. Always a great experience.
