I was referred to Tree Service of Troy by a friend. I have used many other tree service companies in the past but this is the first time I needed a tree removed. Rick responded to may phone call immediately, he came out to my house and left me quote, I accepted it and within three weeks all the work was done. I received a phone call the day before they were going to do the work from Rick and as schedule they showed up the next day about 11 am. AJ was a great team lead. He had everyone organized and the work was done in just over two hours. That same day they came back to grind the stump and the next morning removed all of the larger pieces of wood from our front yard. Not a single thing was damaged in the removal of the tree. A few holes in the yard but that is to be expected when you are dropping heavy pieces of wood from the top of the tree. That I can repair!! Thanks everyone for your hard work and professionalism. Everyone I talked to on the job that day was very nice. Rick called me the same day the job was done to make sure everything went well. Great work everyone, I miss my tree but it was time to say goodbye!

I highly recommend Tree Service of Troy, they were punctual, professional and attentive to our needs. They were detail oriented- they confirmed what work was to be done and went the extra mile to make sure we were pleased! They cleaned up after wards and the crew was very pleasant. Their trucks and equipment were impressive and they even have a pink chipper to honor breast cancer survivors. We truly were impressed and will use them again!
Got an estimate and appointment a few weeks ago, fair price. Troy Tree Service said they would be here today 10/25/20 between 10am and noon. Never showed by 1pm. Called the office and the receptionist said she I was on the schedule and she would call the foreman and call me back with a new time line. It's now 2:30p still no word. Call office again, same thing, the foreman will call when there on the way. It's now 7pm still have not heard from anyone. I sat here ALL day now and no one has called. Very, very poor service!!!!
Arrived on time, cut everything that was expected and did a great job cleaning up. I was shocked they did not ask for any money upfront. Everyone was professional and courteous too.
There was a very tall tree on the fence line between my house and my neighbor's house, it was losing branches due to disease. My neighbor and I were both concerned that it would come down onto one of our homes...it was in a very dangerous spot with electrical and phone wires crossing the path. Robert had to pull the bucket truck off the job because of the danger to his crew. I was really disappointed, but he said he would have it done within two days. The next day, Robert had a crane operator come out to remove the tree in sections. I wish I was home to see it, I guess it was really amazing. Anyway, the huge worrisome tree has been removed and I am really pleased with the work that was completed and the price was fair too!
