After already doing the work to repair my bike, the staff insisted I give them my phone number, e-mail address and name. When I said I preferred not to, they acted like they couldn’t possibly ring me up without “creating a profile”. If there are extra requirements (like giving personal information) beyond the basic payment of cash, you need to tell the customer that before doing the work, otherwise make it optional. The repair work was fine but I suggest people avoid this place until that policy is changed, unless you don’t mind giving your phone number to a random business that doesn’t have any reason to need it.

Bought a bike here for my son during the pandemic. The staff were super courteous and helpful and they were able to accommodate building a bike in a timely manner. No doubt these are stressful times but they went above and beyond to ensure all their customers were cared for and kept safe while conducting business. Thank you for everything!

I cannot recommend this location enough! Edward and the entire staff were so incredibly helpful in getting me my dream bike! I've been looking for a new bike for a few months and with the pandemic, they've been very hard to come by! When I came across the Electra Loft 7D, I knew it was the bike for me! The StuyTown Trek only had one left and when I spoke with Edward, he spent so much time talking about the bike and reviewing the purchasing process with me. He was so beyond helpful and even put all my information into their system so I could come in and easily buy the bike. I ended up coming into this location the very next day to buy the bike (I was worried someone would buy it before me!!). Katy and Edward assisted in the purchasing process. I just picked it up on Saturday and I'm in love! I was given so much attention in the bike shop. Trek's 30-day guarantee, free servicing package, and warranties are yet another reason to buy from Trek! Again, I can't thank the employees at Trek Bikes StuyTown enough. They were so kind, so helpful, and I will wholeheartedly recommend this shop to everyone looking for a bike/accessories!! Thank you SO much!

Best Service I received in a very long time. I wish others could experience it so they can see what an excellent customer service is. Eric and Ernesto were so knowledgeable, caring, polite and patient which made my experience incredibly easy even though the bikes I wanted were backlogged for 4 months. Definitely will be back and buy again from them (I know need city bikes lol).
The staff people were friendly,professional,and knowledgeable.I was told that the repairs to my bike would be done by Thursday but I got a call on Tuesday that it was ready to be picked up. I liked that. The bike runs like new.
Buying and picking up my bike at Trek was one of the best retail experiences I've ever had. Everyone was so knowledgeable and super nice. You could tell they just love what they do and love helping people. And they didn't try to sell me stuff I don't need.
