Richard of Tres Elegante did not install our shutters properly. Many did not fit properly, were in non working order when originally installed , one was installed upside down, some broke in less than a years time. We cannot open some of the shutters to clean as they are crammed into our wood casement. The shutters do not close all the way, so there is very little privacy day or night and much daylight comes through and at night lights and shadows show. I have called Richard, seen Richard personally and he hasn’t returned to see about these issues. Once he installed and collected our money, which was a sizable amount he ignored us, the lifetime guarantee was apparently a no service no response guarantee. He told me once he was going on an extended vacation to Italy. Well I guess he hasn’t returned in two years. More than Disappointed! Will be reporting to the BBB.
