Nice, small town beach. You have to be a resident of Deerfield, Hatfield, or Whately to get in and must buy a season pass (usually around 30 or so). You can't bring guests. However, if folks from outside those towns want to come here, they can buy a Day Pass (usually 30 a day for a car, though! last time I checked). Water is typically clean at beginning of year, but can get dirty and full of leaves as the time goes on. Has bathrooms and changing areas. Parking is on same level as beach (no steps to walk up/down). Has a pavillion and small gazebo that are shaded, otherwise bring sunscreen and an umbrella to sit under! Has boat dock kids can jump off of into water if lifeguard is with them. Usually 1-3 lifeguards on duty at a time. No BBQing allowed.

As a lifeguard who has worked at this beach for nearly four years, I can say that it's been an amazing time so far! The people who come here are friendly, the water is really clean (especially in comparison to Lake Wyola) and the bosses that run the place manage it extremely well. I couldn't think of any better place to lifeguard at during the summer!
