How do Americans afford medical treatment when a 30 minute visit to the ER costs 1,708?! Testing aside, the ER alone is listed as 921 so it’s almost 1k JUST to walk through the door. I figured it would be expensive but this is just ridiculous.

I went in yesterday for shoulder surgery, due to bursitis. My doctor was Dr. Bing Tsay, who is in excellent Orthopedic doctor. From the time that I arrived at the hospital, , I went through the surgery and then the recovery, and till I left, I cannot say enough kind things about everyone that helped me. Everybody was very nice and very professional.

They aren't letting a family member in time be with your loved one for surgery. Don't hold your breath that they will actually text and give you updates because they didn't today. So ridiculous!!

The staff are very attentive here, the rooms are always clean, they are always good spirited and work diligently with me each visit. The staff helps put your nerves at ease when you are worried about something, very personable, very good mannered staff.

If I could give a zero I would. The Internal Medical Doctor Monalis Mitra. Is a disgrace to the medical profession. She refused to give me my medication that I brought in with me. I had surgery and was staying over night. The hospital lost my medication my asthma medication that I knew I would need after surgery. After I was released the next day they found my meds on the operating room. They said they would mail it to me it's been 2 weeks. No meds. I did go online and submit a complaint to the medical board about this doctor. She was very rude and refusing to give me life treating meds that I needed.
