Kelly was our point of contact for everything pertaining to the viewing. They went above and beyond what I expected. The room was great, my Mom was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier with how everything went. Any question I had was answered, any change/adjustment we wanted was handled. They helped us through this difficult time and I would recommend them to anyone.
I am writing this review because I arrived here Tuesday and I needed help. The lights were off and the door was locked but there was a sign on the door that said to phone them and they would help. When she answered I told her why I was there and I was told that this place was closed but they could help me if we talked on the phone but that I must use the one on crooked rd or big beaver rd. I explained that I heard good things about them and wanted to be at the one I was at because of a previous bad experience and asked if I could get help where I was at. I was told that because there freezer room was at the other one I would have to come there. I do not know why they wouldn't help me and was very disappointed!
My family was forced to switch places because they \consolidated\ during this pandemic....the place they moved us to was very busy the day of our service and we felt very unsafe with the amount of people there. I asked one of the workers what was happening at the place we wanted and she said othing\ so we were left very confused and upset by them moving us to a place that had lots of people roaming around, we didnt want to be there in the first place but they had our aunt so there was nothing we could do.
My mother passed away in Virginia but had to be transferred to Michigan for burial. I was able to make all the major arrangements over the phone. When we met with Mike Flannery, upon arriving in Michigan, he was very attentive to our needs and the type of service we wanted and making it happen. Everyone that worked at this funeral home was very compassionate and respectful and someone was always there for us to see that everything was the way we wanted it. Cassie also went out of her way to make sure we were pleased. I was very impressed with everyone that worked here and would highly recommend them in your time of need.
