We had an amazing get-a-way in one of the Kootenai River Outfitters Cabins. We stayed in the Cedar Twin #3 and let me tell you what a pleasant surprise we had when we opened the door to the cabin. We were greeted with a freshly bakes cherry crisp and 2 jars of homemade jam. The cabin is very cozy and even though it is the middle of winter, the hospitality and coziness of the cabin was amazing. Tee cabin was very clean and spacious. These are off the beaten path and well worth the stay anytime of year. We rebooked for out 16 year anniversary this spring! We can not wait. We also plan on spending time at Christmas and riding up this summer on our Harleys with a few friends for a nice relaxing weekend. If I had to say there was something we liked the least, well it is only the weather and of course that is out of anyone's control. We planned on having a fire but the temperature was in the single digits and with the wind was even colder. Thank you for such a relaxing, well needed get-a-way!

Like always, our stay at KRO was amazing. Every time we go, we always find something else to love about that country and the amenities that they have. Robert and Jeanie are fantastic hosts and I can't say enough great things about their beautiful piece of heaven in NW Montana.

Rick & I visited for the 2nd time July 2020, again a wonderful, amazing trip! Robert & Jeanie are blessed hosts, providing homemade desserts, Jam & butter & a personal welcome! Lake Creek was awesome to fish, swim & kayak in. A bull moose visits the creek too! Cabins are fantastic & cozy. Troy is a great, friendly town. Lord willing, we will be back again. Thanks so much Robert and Jeanie and Lucas too!

My wife and I booked a float trip down the Kootenai, river with Lucas one of the great KRO guides. His knowledge of the river was impressive, and his patience in helping teach Kari how to fly fish was much appreciated. We had a great time, and plan to make it an annual trip. See y’all next year!!
