Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly young man sitting in a camp chair with a blanket covering his lap. I love that REI cares enough to let this employee be comfort while he did his job. He politely reminded us to keep our masks in place jus trike they were. As we browsed the store we were approached by several helpful staff offering help. To finish off the experience, a gentlemen (Todd?)explained the finer points of an inflatable paddle board to me. He was more knowledgeable about this Product than many car sales men are about their product.

If you are a person who loves the outdoors and quality products, this is the store for you. Brands that last and hold up through tough wear. Very pricey, but you get what you pay for. I came in today in search of hiking pants, found the perfect size but spent 100. This is where I get all my backpacking/hiking gear, and soon to be climbing gear! 10/10 would recommend to a friend! Only 4 stars because of the price!

I haven't been to many places due to the lack of enforcement of safety precautions but they take everything seriously. Friendly and knowledgeable staff like usual and good prices on high quality gear.

Associates are very unwelcoming and Covid freaked out. They lecture you about wearing your mask the second you walk in...though we were clearly wearing ours properly. Five feet from the first lecturing associate was another giving instructions on backpacking. She stopped what she was doing and lost her mind on my husband for adjusting his mask. Wow. Just order online and avoid the nut balls in this store.

I found the Xero sandals that I wanted, and could try the sizes on to get the right ones. They only come in full sizes and I wear a half size so it's hard to order them online. There were covid-19 safety measures in place so no problems there. I'm not a socks with sandals guy, but due to covid, wear socks to try on shoes. I could spend hours and hours and lots of on all the gear there. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
