This is a wonderful shop with a large selection of shades at various price points. The owner has a wealth of knowledge and a design background. She only buys high-quality shades made in the U.S. (She's from Thailand and wants to support U.S. companies.) Be sure to bring your lamp to ensure the right fit. The shade is as important as the lamp; a cheap shade on a nice lamp will ruin the effect. She takes the time to help customers find the perfect match, and then explains how to care for your shade. (I was doing everything wrong!) A great experience.
When I first walked in I knew I was in a lamp place of quality like I had not seen in AZ, only NY and LA. The owner came up to me and corrected me on the way I was holding a shade. As a designer, I pride myself on having the gentlest of touches but to learn an even better way was important. I was ready to purchase but she sent me home to get the lamps and have a real fitting, like with a fine suit or beautiful gown. So, I brought in two lamps instead of one and walked back a very pleased customer with impeccable shades for a Chinese lamp and a mid-century modern lamp. Tied my living room and salon together.
