Fabulous exhibits and beautiful cactus!!! Lots of walking but pretty easy. Bring a water bottle. They have a cafe with food and drinks. It's very pricey, but delicious. They have sanitation areas everywhere and even have sunscreen dispenser in the restroom. We visited in Feb so temps were low 70s. The animal exhibits are clean, spacious and representative of natural habitat. We will consider a membership if we come back to AZ.

This place was amazing. So much to see. I really like that it all has a flow to it and you won’t feel like you missed out on it. There’s multiple animal and botanical exhibits. A great place to spend the day.

Who knew there were so many different types of cactuses! Well kept grounds, they could have had more signage explaining what more of the plants were. The exhibit with the birds only had doves in it so that was a little disappointing. But the hummingbird exhibits was fantastic! All in all a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend a stop here!

Had a really great time this afternoon. I love the desert loop, I get to walk out in nature before returning to the paved paths my family prefers. A win-win. It's a great place to see, whether or not you live in Tucson. It's not solely a tourist destination. I only rated 4 stars because the price is steep. Maybe consider age, residency, etc. My 3 year old is too young to absorb the experience the way we do. I was surprised we had to pay that much for him. I'm sure the money is all for a good cause and as an animal lover, I'd rather my money goes here but at these prices I think I'll only visit once a year.

This is such a cool \museum\! It's hard to call it that, because it's practically a zoo with extra (interesting) informational placards and signage. We got really lucky the day we went, all the animals happened to be out and about and they all looked really good and well-cared for. They've also got a fun gift shop with tons of rocks and fossil replicas for purchase.
