Always the place to go when your pocket is flush with cash because you can get things there that you don't find in other places. Staff has always been very helpful about getting gifts ready.

I bought a nespresso machine in November for my brother for Christmas. It was never shipped and after 4 months of customer service reassuring that we would get one of the next shipments, the item became permanently out of stock. My brother had already spent 100 in pods for the machine, but because of the supply quantity, the cost of the machine had gone up 89 from the time I originally placed the order. Had I know WS was not going to get another shipment, I would have ordered the machine for the cheaper price somewhere else around Christmas time. Customer service was very unhelpful and I had to call several times to get my refund.

I was a customer at the Williams Sonoma La Encantada store in April 2020 It was right after the Corona 19 lockdown was eased and we were able to go back out in public but strongly advised to wear masks and social distance. I had to make a return. The original employee that tried to help me was not wearing her mask properly and seemed very agitated. I had just read about how to properly wear a mask and offered suggestions to her about doing so. She immediately became very angry and lashed out at me for correcting her. She said she wouldn't even be working there if she didn't have to. And, I should not be correcting her at all. Because she had raised her voice I immediately stepped back to give more space between us. I was a bit in shock for having an employee raise her voice to me, a customer, in a store such as Williams Sonoma. But realized that she was probably just so scared like the rest of us that she lost control. I should have left immediately. But just then another employee noticed that there was a problem and took over the transaction. The switch was so smooth I hardly noticed that someone else had taken over. That person was AJ Soll. She might have been the manager, I was never sure. She was so professional and competent and new exactly how to deescalate a potentially dramatic situation. I marveled at her ability in dealing with the transaction and the customer at the same time. I left with a feeling that someone very capable and calm was in charge. I hope this most positive review is received by the proper corporate entities so they can know what a valuable employee they have with AJ. And reward her appropriately for her excellent work Sincerely Maureen De Lair
