I just spent a peaceful morning playing in the snow with my dog. I love the improvements they have made since my last visit. There are a few toys for the dogs to play on.

It's nice having a vast dog park here, and I like the separation of small and large dog areas. The grounds are currently under improvement (Jan. 2021), but the addition of agility equipment and a partially completed (hopefully) concrete path through the large dog area did nit improve the major concern of it being a bog most of the year. Also, whatever contractor used by the city did a poor job of leveling the new covered table and many of the agility structures, and somehow caused the gate in the small dog area to malign causing a huge gap and the latch was turned to not horseshoe around the pole.

Pros: - My go-to dog park for a year! - Has agility toys such as a seesaw, ramp, tunnel, and steps. - Park is currently doing renovations intermittently. Added a path down the middle of the park with a spot for rain cover as well as more agility toys. - Separate parks for big dogs and small dogs. - Mostly grass in both parks. - Large park, the big dog side you can loose sight of your dog over a small hill. - Lots of egulars\ so you can get to know other owners/your dog can get to know other dogs and make friends! Cons: - They recently started renovations and completely tore up the grass in a good portion of the park, making it EXTREMELY muddy. I now need to rinse my dog off EVERY time we go here, because she gets so caked in mud. This is not possible to avoid, either. - Because of renovations, the water fountain in the entrance is no longer working. BRING YOUR OWN WATER AND BOWL IF YOU PLAN GO BE THERE FOR A WHILE. - Only one entrance. - Lots of flippant owners who come and just sit there and don't monitor their dogs, which is a safety hazard. Not the parks fault but wanted to mention this. - Not all owners of small dogs actually use the small dog park (could be dangerous if a large dog with high prey drive came to the park.) - There has been several times that people smoke a cigarette inside the park despite there being rules against it. All in all a great dog park!! It sucks they're doing renovations NOW while it rains so often when they really should have done it during the summer so that the dogs wouldn't get SO muddy, but hopefully the renovations are worth it!

Love this park, many community events are held here. Trails go throughout the park, as a kid I enjoyed running through the trees but I’m not sure how that is today. I’d keep my kids close but I also don’t have kids so who am I to say. Large fields for sports. Lots of parking and picnic spots are available.

Beautiful park, clean and pretty quiet. I visited on a Friday morning though, so I can imagine it gets busy here. The dog park is covered in grass. It has agility courses. A small dog and large dog park. It's a pretty good sized dog park! Outside the park there is a walking trail, part of it goes into a foresty area of the park. It loops around the park and brings you back to the parking lot. Two parking lots that I noticed here. A doggie water fountain is available right outside the dog parks. Really nice park, I love it !
