I came here on birthday and I was impressed by the architecture, service and food! The atmosphere is amazing! Our server, Mallory, was very helpful with the menu and knew what she was talking about! Definitely a plus! When I got my pan-seared trout, I devoured it quickly! It was fresh and savory! Hands down a great place to wine and dine!

Upon walking into the French Hen and noticing the attention to detail from the entry, the seating arrangement, and to the bar, I knew that if this place looked good, the food was going to be good. The service was great, our waiter explained every item on the menu, and checked up on us on numerous occasions. Then there's the food. Coming from California where every city had amazing food to offer, after being in Tulsa for three months, I am glad to finally find a restaurant where the food meets my expectations. The food was great and delicious, the fish was cooked to perfection, and the duck was mouth watering. My favorite dish has got to be the Shrimp Scallops & Crab Cheesecake, it was so good! So glad to have picked the French Hen out of random as a place to try, they did not disappoint. Plus the place doesnt break the bank, either! Definitely coming back for more!
I wish I could give this place more stars! Wonderful ambience, beautiful interior, and fantastic food. We had the escargot, fried oysters, and Scallop Shrimp Crab cheesecake for appetizers. Top notch. Our favorite was the “cheesecake”. The service was better than we’ve seen anywhere else. It wasn’t just the kindness and timeliness but what made the staff stand out was their ability to be in tuned with each guest. The server described the food to a T and listened to what we like to eat and made recommendations and even suggestions on what they could tweak to make the entree more enjoyable to the guest. The bartender was a savant. It was as if he could read our minds and knew what type of cocktail we would like, some on m u and some off. I usually only drink wine at dinner but he made my mouth water with a cocktail suggestion and I couldn’t resist! You must try French Hen for a special occasion, date night, or if it’s you’re only night in Tulsa. I wish I could transplant it to St Louis!
Excellent. We had New Year's Eve lunch here (first time). My wife had the Beef Bourguinion. Her complaint was that the bowl needed to be bigger! Rich and Beefy with crisp onion strips. I had the snapper special which was a great size and delicious! We are coming back next time we are in town.
Stopped in with a friend for a drink and some food. The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! We shared a summer berry salad and the duck breast and both were so delicious. Would definitely come again!
