Visited the monument located right outside the center on Sunday, which was closed and the day before MLK day. The monument itself is an informative piece of history not frequently spoken of. The style of engraved lettering makes it a little hard to see. Definite must see if in the area.

The center was closed but we were able to take photos and read information on some of the wonderful businesses that existed before the 1921 Massacre of this once outstanding African American town.
Good details about an event I never knew about. History needs to be taught.
Went fishing in pond next to center was fun. Almost caught 3, definitely caught 1. Atmosphere was great. All kinds of people enjoying a beautiful Oklahoma evening. Will be back!
This was a very enlightening experience. Although the Center is closed the memorial s were very informative.
