We have been purchasing hams from you for holidays for several years. The one we purchased Friday for Easter was a disappointment. It had very little good meat. Most of it was just bone and fat. We couldn't get any regular size slices off of it to serve up, The flavor was excellent as always but definitely felt a little short changed on the meat.

Super average grocery quality ham. Not impressed. 70 for average rubbery ham. Next

What happened to the quality of Hamlet hams? Over the past ten years, the quality has dropped from totally excellent, to just average. I’ve never minded paying a premium price for a quality ham at special dinners, but after being their customer for almost twenty years, I’ve seen their quality drop. This year I went to another provider. It’s a shame, because at one time, Hamlet ham was the best in the country, and my family looked forward to enjoying it at our dinners.

Great ham and turkey. We buy from them every Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Just picked up my spiral sliced turkey breast for 43 and was handed a frozen turkey breast wrapped in plastic with a honey glaze packet - just like you can get at the grocery. The website pictures and description say the turkey breast comes “completely cooked” and that they just need to be warmed. When I asked the saleslady why I was given a frozen turkey breast and review my order she said, “yes it’s correct, this will be ready to warm after you cook it”. Horrible.

If you are hosting a dinner or lunch holiday meal, you have got to get either their smoked Turkey or honey glazed ham. It doesn't get any better than the Hamlet.

This is a holiday season tradition for my family. High quality and never disappoints. Turkey is good but the ham is where it’s at! Reserve early around Christmas time, or you could be wait listed (that’s how good it is). You’re not going to get anything like this at Walmart or the grocery store.
