A little long, but an honest review! I am a legal assistant for an attorney in Tulsa, whom I trust completely... he recommended Joel Lacourse to represent me in my seemingly never-ending divorce proceeding (going on 3 years when I hired Joel!) and to help me obtain emergency custody of my children. My boss does not do family law, so this is the person he truly trusted to bring this case to a conclusion and to help me protect my kids. My divorce was filed in November of 2017 and had no end in sight. I could not get an attorney to get me any closer to a divorce, or to take my concerns over my children seriously. I remember spending nights (well, days, too) bawling my eyes out, worried sick for my kids while in the care of their father. I remember telling Joel if something wasn’t done and fast, something terrible WOULD happen to my kids. This was not an exaggeration, by the way. He listened to me, believed me, and was able to get me granted emergency custody. And for that, I am eternally grateful. Who knows what could have happened if I had not decided to hire him. That’s the absolute truth, too. Joel was always very honest and didn’t sugar coat anything to appease me, which I really appreciated & wouldn’t want him to do anyway. Oh and also, I would like to add — Joel’s legal assistant, Cassie, is so helpful and answers any questions I have in a timely manner and is the absolute sweetest girl! Which does make a difference. Would definitely use them in the future!
