Took a lead climbing course last fall with Kelty. We learned climbing, safety and got to practice both. Plus his area at TumTum had fantastic routes for learning too. His course is well thought out and worth twice the price.

Kelty and Destiny are awesome and sweet people who are incredible teachers. Climbing is a new hobby for me and I was scared until I took their class. They are so patient and so detailed on all the aspects of climbing and safety, I felt very comfortable my first time despite at first feeling terrified to take on this new challenge! I HIGHLY recommend any one to take the classes, they offer multiple classes for any skill level. I will definitely be taking more classes in the future with them to improve my confidence and knowledge of climbing. I have a lot more to learn but this company is the resource I trust and will use indefinitely!
I am so impressed with Inland Northwest Climbing Outfitters! Although I have outdoor climbed before, I was looking for more in depth education with top-rope climbing, safety, anchor building etc. I booked the Climbing Basics Class with a friend and Kelty and Destiny were fantastic climbing guides. They were so patient and optimistic and I could really tell they enjoy teaching. The scheduling was easy and they were completely willing to work with us. We're already planning another class. Thank you Kelty and Destiny for expanding my knowledge base, I am already feeling more confident in my ability level. Looking forward to future lessons! Highly, highly recommend!
Just had an awesome day! Was in town for a few days and really only had a day to climb. Luckily I found Kelty, he was great! I had some sport experience so we worked some easy climbes to kinda assess my skill then we did a super fun two pitch he set. He taught some new things and reinforced some old ones. So if ya already climb and don't have time to thumb for delays this is a really great option!
My fiance and I took a Traditional Climbing course from Kelty when we were headed on a mountaineering adventure which would require this knowledge. Kelty worked with our schedule. He listened to us and our skill level, what our concerns were, and even did research on the route we were taking. He tailored his lessons to where we were at and was calm, helpful, and insightful. I would absolutely recommend Kelty's classes to anyone, no matter the level of climbing ability. We absolutely got huge value from his classes, and were prepared for the route we wanted to climb!
Jeci and I had about a week before we were heading on our trip, and we needed a Traditional Climbing course to prepare. Kelty was referred to us by Clint an NW Outdoors. Kelty worked with our schedule to split a full day course into two days; he tailored every minute of the course to meet our specific needs; he listened to every concern we had and met us where we were at. I highly recommend Inland Northwest Climbing Outfitters if you want to learn at any skill level of climbing; you are in good hands.
