this place ROCKS. i wish i could remember the guy's name who helped us (Eli? idk sorry bro!) but either way they were SUPER helpful and had great recommendations. the prices were spot on and good gear to boot. perfect suggestions for our short 3 day stint and also have one of the best maps with trails we found. highly recommend!

Awesome folks! Great location and beautiful trip! We did a four day canoe from Long Lake to Raquette River to Tupper Lake. Great canoes. They made sure we had the right equipment and delivered the canoes to our launch right on time and got us all set up (thanks Sam!). We had also lost some boots at the Falls portage and with a couple of contacts were able to get the boots and ship them home to our party. I'm very much looking forward to going back.

I have been visiting this shop for over a decade, Anne and her staff are amazing and boat rental selection cannot be beat with very close access and shuttle service available to Tupper Lake. There is a great selection of gear for sale, and you can also rent basically anything you need to have a great overnight paddle trip at a very reasonable cost. I absolutely love this shop and the staff who work here!

Had a great experience with these guys. We did a 3 day trip and they recommended both the itinerary and the best boats for the task. They worked with us on figuring best schedule and showed a lot of flexibility getting boats dropped and picked up. They know the area well and were able to recommend best campsites too. I don't write reviews often, but this was really great and I would definitely come back to them.

The folks at Raquette River are super helpful in every regard of your boat trip in the Adirondacks. I rented a 110L dry bag for my trip into Long pond. I also needed to buy a knife, maps, some freeze-dried dinners. They had everything I needed and expert advice. I’m also planning on purchasing a pack boat. I stopped by some builders on my way up and plan on making my purchase through these folks, mostly because of their advice. Top notch service
