Awesome local hangout place. This is a beer special part of the river and everyone who lives in the Durham area should definitely check it out. Very social and friendly atmosphere. Bring A snack or some drinks as long as you clean up after yourself and your group

Great back to nature space. Tucked in the middle of the busy ness. A great get away spot
This was a great easy hike for the whole family, including our 2 older mini dachshunds.
Lovely place along the Eno River with lots of turtles on logs.
Great place to swim and cool off in the pandemic! A note on PARKING!!! One-sided street parking is allowed on all of Landis street. Some homeowners there have put up duct-taped o parking signs\ and white chains in their yards, but it is a public street and one-sided street parking is allowed at all hours every day of the year. The side where parking is not allowed is clearly marked with official city signs. Ignore the homemade signs. Trust me, no tow-truck driver will boot or tow a car that is legally parked in a public street. They get in big trouble if they do. If a homeowner tries to harass you for parking there politely tell them you have the right to legally park in the street and you will call the police if they continue to harass you or threaten to tamper with your private property (your car). No private property owner has the right to block public use of public streets. Be respectful, keep your vehicle on the street and out of yards and don't block driveways or play loud music or litter, but it is a public park with a public trail head at the end of a public street with legal one-sided street parking that everyone has the right to use.
