Skys The Limit Observatory near beautiful JoshuaTree National Park is surrounded by some of the most scenic desert landscapes in the US! A great experience for the entire family, couples, seniors or teens. Lots to see and do here and explore! Lots to photograph here including the night time \dark sky\ star sky full of millions of stars! You'll love The Skys The Limit Observatory and the entire Joshua Tree National Park experience! . . . . #skysthelimitobservatory #unitedstatesnps #usnps #waynesalvatti #photografxworldwide

During the coronavirus, the observatory is closed but the parking is open at night. You can take a look at the stars. I used a app called Star Walk 2 to look at the constellations and identify them. We walked around and looked at the pitch black sky with so many stars. As you look longer the more stars show up. We got there right before 6:30pm after the sun finally set. It is a little bit outside of Joshua Tree National Park as you exit the North Entrance/Exit.

Nice place just outside Joshua Tree! Like a small public park with tables and benches. Good for stargazing! We came here and got a chance watching Neowise Comet! See you 6800 years later!

Ignore this rating. I drove past this place on a weekday and there seems to be nobody here. Cool place, thought it would be a good spot for astrophotography if I get lazy driving back to the park late at night. I did came back late at night but turn around because the sign says No Overnight parking and didn't want any trouble.
