Second time renting with TLBR, even better experience than the first! First time was on Lake Elizabeth on a standard pontoon, this time on Lake Mary on a tiki boat and we all loved it! Steve was so helpful, funny, and generous with extending out rental time since we arrived late. We had also been wait listed about a week ago and got a call the night before our preferred date to go out notifying of a rental availability. We were just so pleased to get to go despite them having been booked up when we tried reserving. Highly recommend TLBR (and recommend reserving about 2 weeks in advance!)
We discovered TLBR for the first time this summer and I cannot express how wonderful they are. Not only is it super convenient to book, change or cancel. The price is reasonable and the location is super convenient to Chicago. The lake in itself is such a fun little find. The water is shallow in certain areas which mean you can wade around. A special shout out to the staff who are so accommodating and friendly. I have been here multiple times now with different group of friends and every time its a blast. I will definitely try to come out again if the weather permits. A real gem for some socially distanced fun time.
Twin Lakes boat rental is awesome! I give it two thumbs up to the sky! Our boat concierge Steve was helpful, polite, and very knowledgeable. There were a handful of families waiting to board their boats and Steve sprung into action and seemed to accommodate all rental parties. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and enjoy themselves on a Great Lake! Thanks for the great lasting memories!
Wife and I wanted to go fishing. I’ve never been fishing on a boat before and we’ve never been fishing together. We rented their fishing boat for 70 for 3-7pm. It was a rowboat with paddles and a motor, nothing fancy. We had a great time. Dave our contact person at pickup and drop off was super cool. If you’re renting a boat on Lake Mary the pickup spot is 503 Wilmot. FYI, 503 is a private residence, go behind the house to the pier. Thanks again Dave!
