Lisa Hayes is one of the rudest and worst service people I have ever met.. I was buying my propane and renting Uhaul trucks there and right off the bat I could tell she would be hard to work with but after filling my tank a few times and one truck rental I just couldn’t handle her attitude and utter misery for her job there and I WONT be back.. I will drive across town to 7th street location from now on just to avoid the “propane nazi”!!!

I needed to fill my propane bottle so i pulled it around 10:38am ..pulled over by refilling tank got out an walked in the front door and the lady behind the desk looks at me an says u need gas before I could even say anything she shakes her head IM NOT !!!! Going outside to fill anymore bottles !! So needless to say i will not be going back there for anything It would not let me give 0 stars

I WILL NEVER RENT FROM U-HAUL EVER AGAIN! I RENTED A NEW TRUCK FROM THEM AT THIS LOCATION AND THE TRUCK DECIDED NOT TO START UP ON ME . I WAS TRAVELING TO WHERE I WAS MOVING TO. STOPPED AT THE SERVICE STATION TO GET A FEW ITEMS . WHEN I GOT BACK INTO THE TRUCK IT WOULDN’T START. IT SOUNDED LIKE IT WAS FLOODED. SO, IT TOOK ALMOST THREE HOURS BEFORE IT STARTED. WELL AT THAT POINT. I HAD TO CALL MY HELP, AND LET THEM KNOW I WASN’T GOING TO MAKE IT DOWN. SO, I HAD TO COME BACK TO HATTIESBURG. I CALLED THE OFFICE AND EXPLAINED TO THEM WHAT TOOK PLACE AND THEY TOLD ME TO CALL ROADSIDE AND I TOLD THEM I WAS BACK HOME. THEY SAID FOR PREVENTION SO THAT IT WOULDN’T HAPPEN AGAIN. WELL IT TOOK ROADSIDE 5 hours to get to me. When the guy came he did a diagnostic test and then he took fuel from the fuel line. He stated that there was a lot of water in the fuel. We took pictures. IN CLOSING THIS ACTUALLY CAUSED ME TO LOSE THE APARTMENT LEAVING ME NO WHERE TO PUT MY FURNITURE AT! I eventually had to rent one of their storage unites that is the worst I’ve ever seen. I was forced to rent from them otherwise they were going to take the truck. Well they did not want to own up to the problem with the truck, even after I sent them the picture of the fuel. Dick Porter who is the president of Uhaul in Mississippi refused to even acknowledge the problem! I lost 1800.00 . PLEASE FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO DO YOUR MOVING!!!!!!!! Because if you a major problem and it cost you. You will be up SH@T Creek! The WORST EVER! NEVER AGAIN!
I’m not sure what’s going on with this location but I could not be more dissatisfied. We are making a 14 hour move across the country we book our uhaul 1 month in advance arrive on time at 7;00 am which is supposed to be opening hours to find that the person in charge of opening the store this morning didn’t even bother to show up to work to open up! There are very frustrated customers gathered up in the parking lot the size truck we need for our move is booked up at every other uhaul store in town and we’re supposed to be leaving the state in the morning! Not only does this totally mess up our schedule but it messes up our finances we’ve booked flights we’re no longer going to be able to make and we cannot be refunded for and we’ve now payed for rent at our new home for days that we won’t be there. Our lights will be delayed getting turned on and so many more inconveniences on our behalf because someone couldn’t make it to work on time. The store was supposed to open at 7:00 we got tired of waiting after we hit the three hour mark and we came back home. Now we’re trying to figure out what our plan B is. Avoid this location at all cost!!!!!
If it gave me options for half a star, it still wouldn't be anywhere near the service I got. The people didn't know how to refill a propane tank, I thought it was gonna blow up. She filled a thirty pound tank three gallons and just stopped. Don't waste you time and money here, please don't.
Friendly management. I wish they might have been a bit faster. I had to wait fairly long to get my reservation picked up.
I never write reviews on the internet. I have been in this location 3-4 times. Purchased and had a hitch installed, rented multiple trucks/trailers. Every single time it seems like the staff is incredibly respectful and friendly and kind and professional and thoughtful of my time even when it takes a few extra minutes
