I was actually one of the first people who had a storage unit at this location. The facility is new, secure and is filled with many moving supplies. I brought my own lock, but had to purchase a universal one per company policy. The units inside have a loud alarm system that activates when you raise the door screen. The back wall does not go all the way up, possibly to prevent that unique "storage smell." Some of my boxes were moved around during the fire season in the area. Not sure what to think about that. I was actually surprised that the location was open to pay monthly dues. My lock was also replaced by a new one and added to my monthly bill. On move-out day I left satisfied that I helped a local business during a hard time.

Where oh where has Rebecca gone?!!? I was at this particular location in Red Bluff, ca. when out of frustration and disgust, i left the grounds voluntarily after 15 minutes (on Monday 12/03/18 @ approx 1110) directly due to the 4 staff members on hand. Not only said staff didn't acknowledgement me, the customer, but the 2 or 3 words directed at me was due to myself asking a simple question. There were 4 employees up front chatting like school-girls seemingly without more than one care in the world. And this was including having at least one person ahead of me to get helped (I'm assuming that's what I was there for ... To be helped). Being a local guide, hopefully I can advise to not be go to this particular U-Haul if it's before noon. Being in customer service for 30 years, I would've at least had some brief explanation as to why myself and the other potential customers were not being intentionally ignored. That would have been far better send me walking out in disgust. I've not had any problems like this at this uhaul before and hopefully it's an isolated case. Personally I was in a particularly good mood upon arriving but left without a single word of acknowledgement. But of course that's just my opinion. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

This uhaul has some serious attitude problems. Some guy with a blonde mustache lied about my propane bottle being out of date so he didn't have to fill it, then straight told me he would sell me another. For 35. I left found another place for propane. They said it was fine. And filled it. This guy is trying to rob people. Place stinks. I definitely do not recommend. Oh yes...he took his mask off when he came to wait on me.

This is the WORST storage place I have ever used. My shed was broken in to (Not their fault there) but they NEVER bothered to inform me that my shed was broken into. Then I needed to get in to get something only to find out that the road was torn up to put in the new fence security lines...so I could not get in to my shed when needed. They can sure send out emails that my rent is due but can't inform you that access to your shed is denied for over a week. Then AGAIN I need to get into my shed only to find out that the new fence and gate had been put up...but the gate would not be operational FOR OVER A WEEK..... I had to go buy stuff that I NEEDED right then that was sitting in my shed but I could not get to it. As soon as I can get to my shed I am getting the heck out of this rotten place.

Rhett, the GM at this location, went above and beyond to help me with my move. I had to unexpectedly drive 300 miles north to Red Bluff from SF since that was the nearest available equipment, and I called this location right before the end of the day when I was scheduled to pick up in the morning. I explained the difficult situation, and Rhett said he would make sure everything was good to go. When I arrived in the morning, Rhett worked with me for an hour to get everything set for my move down to SoCal. Highly recommend based on the customer service and genuine care displayed by the GM here. Thanks Rhett for doing everything necessary to help me get set for the biggest move of my life.

I purchase some basic shipping supplies for my small company from this U-Haul. Even though it is a little more expensive it is quicker than ordering online. I have always received excellent service. Today I needed propane for my generator and don't like to purchase pre-filled bottles as they are only 3/4 full. I went to U-haul where I was helped immediately by a friendly U-haul employee. He quickly filled my three bottles and was able to charge my CC right at the filling area. There was no need to go into the store and wait Great service and much better than any of the bottle exchange places.

I’ve used this location numerous times for trucks and boxes and the workers have no customer service skills. Went in for boxes and walked around looking and the man behind the counter just stared at me and didn’t ask if I needed help or anything. Started moving big boxes to the front to pay and still no help. Was rude at checkout and after didn’t offer to help carry boxes to my car. Every time I’ve bought boxes there they just watch me make three loads to my car with no help. Another worker was just standing there so asked if he could help and he said nothing, acted like I just told him his cat died. He did help but could tell he wasn’t happy. They all need a class on customer service...still need about 70 boxes but will be going next door to Home Depot!
