I have been using UK sailmakers for the maintenance and repair of the sails on my Hunter 41 for the last decade. Oliver has provided excellent customer service. His assistant, Maria has also been a pleasure to work with. There has been more than one time when I have needed to have a sail repaired quickly and Oliver got it done within 24 hours! That is a quick turnaround. His shop is very convenient to Marina Del Rey and there is usually parking available in front which in this area is quite a premium as I would rather not lug a heavy sail very far. As for his work - frankly it has been great! Every repair he has made has lasted YEARS! When I ask him to evaluate the condition of the sail and if he has any recommendations, I have always felt that he has given me good advice. My sails are now over 10 years old and it is thanks to him that they are in as good a shape as they are. I am very happy with his work and his prices are VERY REASONABLE! I am very glad to have access to a sail loft so close to the marina and I know that he gets lots of good word of mouth referrals as I hear other people tell me and that is how I came to know him 10 years ago! I recommend UK Sailmakers for any of your sail maintenance or repairs. I am confident that you will be pleased with his work as well!
