I picked this particular location not because of convenience because it's not close to me; but based on the fact that this business is female owned and obviously caters to anyone needing traditional tailoring. I can't sew! I can cook but I can't sew and based on all the reviews here I made a wonderful choice. The owner was very kind and welcoming over the phone and in person as I explained that I have a faux fur vintage coat that is too snug to button close. The owner had me try on the coat and she made some suggestions and said she would simply adjust some buttons and snaps and closures closer together so my coat would close properly. She had me pay half in advance and said my coat would be ready within two weeks. Voila! I picked up my finished coat this past Monday afternoon and tried it on to make sure everything was adjusted perfectly. Another seamstress had me try it on and she took notice that one hook needed to be moved again just one half inch so the material wouldn't bulk up. She readjusted it and I paid the remainder and left with my beautiful coat that now fits my body perfectly. Everyone here is patient and very friendly. It cost me a couple of expensive uber rides to get here from work but it was well worth the trip and I love supporting female owned businesses. I'd come back here again if anything else needs adjusting and I highly recommend these women if you need a coat taken in or a dress that needs to be refined for your body type.

Kate and team did an AMAZING job altering my wedding dress! I was referred to Kate from another tailor that no-showed my first 2 appointments. As a COVID bride, you can imagine the additional stress that provided. However, it truly worked out for the best. Kate was so kind, accommodating, professional and organized. The dress I brought her was several sizes too big in need of a lot of help, and by my last appointment it fit perfectly. I cannot wait to wear the finished product on the big day and am so grateful for Kate and her team!

Just picked up a hoody that I had some mending done to; so so happy with it. UC was very helpful and willing to work with my budget, walked me through all my options, and did a truly amazing and high quality job on what was initially just a raggy old hoody. This was my first experience here, but will certainly not be my last!
I took my apprehensive boyfriend to get some items tailored here and we couldn't have made a better choice. Kate made the whole process comfortable, convenient and fun. She completely re-engineered his old outdated suit and made it into a timeless classic. It was completed on time/quote, and she was endlessly patient and communicative from start to finish. Most importantly he looks and feels fantastic in his beautiful 'new' suit. Thanks again!
This is my first time here and they really treat you with great hospitality. Offering the options to pay in full now or pay half price (which is a great option for all individuals) and asking the pronouns you go by right off the bat. They worked with my tailoring needs and timing and made it an extraordinary experience. Super excited to work with them more!
Hands down the best customer service ever! I called after a Google search in the area for alterations and thankfully came across the website. Kate was amazing, knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. Just left my wedding dress with her and I appreciate how comfortable I was made to feel. Come to Kate for all your sewing needs!
